how to roll your own sushi


You can make your favorite Maru rolls at home, too! 

Watch and learn as Chef Edie rolls up the Atlantic.

Step 1 – Gather your ingredients. You’ll need sushi rice, nori (seaweed paper), fish, vegetables, wasabi and ginger. We used ingredients for the Atlantic – salmon, red pepper, garlic mayo and furikake seasoning.

Step 2 – Spread the rice evenly on the nori.

Step 3 – Place your ingredients in the middle of the nori.

Step 4 – Roll the sushi roll up with your hands and with a maki su until it seals.

Step 5 – Cut the roll into bite size pieces. Sprinkle with furikake seasoning or sesame seeds.

Step 6 – Place the roll on a plate, add ginger and wasabi. Enjoy!
